The grip tape strips contained in this kit are specifically designed for golf grips and are not just double sided sellotape which is commonly being sold as grip tape.

The sellotape versions being sold on the market are very thin and not long enough for a standard length grip, (only 235mm long) therefore only sticking part of the grip to the shaft, and leaving the grips feeling spongy.

They produce very average results in both the fitting and the feel of the grip.

Using a quality grip tape makes a big difference to the fitted grip Diameter (size) and feel.

This kit can be extended, with the purchase of additional tape strips.

Please Note: This pack does not include any grips. Grips are sold separately.

Grip Solvent is designed to be used with all solvent activated grip tapes.

The purpose of the solvent is to activate the tape glue allowing for the grip to be slid over the taped shaft and positioned correctly.

The solvent will then evaporate allowing the tape and grip to stick together permanently.

The solvent supplied in this kit is a low-odour, non-staining, mineral spirit based formulation that works very well with all solvent activated grip tapes, allowing plenty of time to adjust the grip into its correct position, before evaporating completely to leave no residue or smell.
